The annual IT Company Rank, published by Ingeniørens Mediehus, has named DTU number two in Denmark - surpassed only by Microsoft.
At DTU, all of us—staff, students, and everyone with whom DTU interacts—have a responsibility to contribute to a sustainable transformation of society. The University must set out a framework that makes it easy to make sustainable choices.
On 17 May, Pia Lyhne will become DTU’s new HR Director. In her new role, she will help maintain and develop DTU’s position as an internationally recognized elite university. She replaces Charlotte Boysen Schmidt, who is retiring.
On March 1, Peter Brønd will be new Director of Facilities at DTU. He replaces Jacob Steen Møller.
University Director, Executive Vice President Claus Nielsen provides a status on the partial reopening of DTU. The second phase includes, among other things, oral exams, which require physical attendance.

Otto Mønsted Foundation has made an extraordinary donation of DKK 10 million (EUR 135,000 ) to construct two new buildings with guest accommodation close to DTU’s campus in Lyngby. Construction is expected to be completed as early as 2017.
The construction of the Hempel Kollegiet residence hall has begun. At the start of the academic year in autumn 2017, 200 accommodation units will be ready for Danish and foreign students.
